Murrell Lawson Walker, 71, of Lake Village, Ark., formerly of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, August 13, 1994, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village.
Born July 8, 1923, he was the son of the late Ebb and May Morgan Walker.
Affiliated with the Methodist Church, he had served in the Army during World War II, and was a farmer.
Mr. Walker leaves his wife, Ruby Nell Lawler Walker, of Lake Village; Two sons: Jimmy Lawson Walker of Cooter, Mo. and Steve Maren Walker of Steele; Two stepsons: Jerry Clark and Murrell Clark, both of Lake Village; One daughter, Linda Cadarette, of Mt. Clemons, Mich.; A sister, Florene Ruppelt, of Jefferson City, Mo.; Eight grandchildren; Four stepgrandchildren; One great-grandson; and Five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Walker were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 1994 at Bradshaw's German-Aumon Chapel in Steele with Rev. C.A. Hurley officiating.
Burial was at Mitchell Number Eight Cemetery near Cooter, Mo., with arrangements by Bradshaw's German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele.
Pallbearers were Carl Clifton, Lee Clifton, David Bond, Gabby Bond, Thomas Kirk, and William Barger.

Louise Walker, 45, of Route 1, Blytheville, died February 12, 1972 at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. She was born August 31, 1926 in Selmer, Tenn., and was a daughter of David Hawkins and the late Lovie Hawkins.
Funeral services were held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at the Original German Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
She leaves her husband, Murrell Walker; her father, David Hawkins of Fillmore, Calif.; three children, Jimmy, Steve and Linda; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Curlin of Lanscaster, Calif. and three brothers: Luther Hawkins, of Hartshome, Okla., Preston Hawkins of Cooter and Guy Hawkins of Fillmore, Calif.
Pallbearers were Dan Caldwell, Chester Caldwell, O.D. Bond, Kenneth Lawler, Fred Austin and Bill Laster. Burial was in Number Eight Cemetery.
