William "Bill" Laster, 71, of the Number Eight Community, Mo., died at the Baptist Hospital in Blytheville, Ark., on Thursday, June 13, 1996.
Born in Tyler, Mo., to the late William L. and Clara Laster, he was a lifelong area resident and was a retired rural mail carrier.
A member of the Number Nine Baptist Church, Mr. Laster was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Laster leaves his wife, Mrs. Renna Razer Laster; Two sisters: Mrs. Mary Louise Pritchard, of Bragg City, Mo., and Mrs. Helen Hawkins, of Memphis, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 1996 at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Hurley officiating.
Burial was at the Number Eight Cemetery near Cooter, Mo., with Cobb Funeral Home in charge.
