C.E. Dawson, 43, War Vet, Dies In Kentucky
Charley Emmitt Dawson, 43-year-old World War veteran, died yesterday at the Veterans Hospital at Outwood. He had been in failing health for several years and had been at Outwood for some time.
The body will arrive here Wednesday morning and the funeral services will be held at the Dee Riley Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery.
Mr. Dawson is survived by one daughter, Eugenie Dawson, who makes her home with Mr. Dawson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Dawson, of Kirksville, two brothers, Olin Dawson and Warren Dawson, both of Kirksville, and three sisters, Mrs. Otto Ludwig, Quincy, Ill., Mrs. Audry Gregory of Greentop, and Mrs. Robert Moorhead, of Quincy.
He had been married twice and both wives preceded him in death.
