Paul Forquer Dies at Home In Edina

Paul E. Forquer, 56, of Edina, formerly of LaPlata and Adair county, died unexpectedly at two oclock this morning at his home in Edina where he had lived for the past three years.

Born Aug. 29, 1911, at Brashear, he was the son of Halley and Edith (Downing) Forquer. On June 10, 1943, he was married to Lorraine Robison in Kirksville.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Reba Markey, Ontario, Calif., Mrs. Dale (Cleo) Sees, 602 S. Ely, and Mrs Lyle (Pauline) Allen, 703 E. Meadow Lane, and two brothers, Allen Forquer, 704 W. Friedman and Howard Forquer, of 1010 W. George.

Mr. Forquer was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph Forquer.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Brashear conducted by the Rev. Archie Cooper of Kirksville. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery in Kirksville.

A veteran of World War II, having served with the Navy, Mr. Forquer was engaged in construction work and farming. The body will be at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina on Wednesday until 6:00 p.m. when the body will be taken to Brashear.
