Josephine Knouse, age 70, a resident of Wheeling, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Landmark Hospital, Columbia, Missouri.

She was born the daughter of Carmello and Vincenza Agnello in Saint Louis, Missouri, on November 6, 1946. She was united in marriage to William Lee Knouse on February 7, 1965. He survives of the home. Josephine was a member of the Wheeling Baptist Church, Wheeling, Missouri.

Survivors include her husband, William of the home; four children, Marjorie Baggos and Jerry of Excello, Missouri, Karla Knouse of Wheeling, Missouri, William J. Knouse and Candi of Macon, Missouri, and Maegan Knouse of Macon, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Roxanne Winters.

Funeral services will be held at the Wheeling Baptist Church, Wheeling, Missouri, on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Wheeling Baptist Church, Wheeling, Missouri, on Friday, October 6, 2017, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
