Howard E. Henry, Jr. was a well known retired carpenter who is believed to have built the first regular sidewalks in Kirskville, Adair County, Missouri. Mr. Henry built 225 houses here and 15 or 20 storefronts besides working for 20 years in the Holmes Woodworking Shop. He also did various odd jobs at his home and at the home of his daughter. For more than 56 years, Mr. Henry had been a member of the Christian Church.
