Gary Keith Creech, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away early Friday morning, August 16, 2019 while at his home. He was born July 10, 1965 in Goldendale, WA to James Robert and Marvilla (Elliott) Creech and was 54 years old.
Gary grew up and attended school in Willow Springs. He was employed at White Industries and later at El Rancho Truck Stop; however, his most recent job was with Grow Smart, LLC where he mixed feed. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed music, camping, and sitting around a bonfire, and was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR. When his nephew, Derek competed in MMA, he was his #1 fan. It was said that he was so proud of his Cub Cadet mower that he kept it chained to his mobile home and wouldn’t use it so it would stay clean. His family teased him about it and called it his “yellow banana.” He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew him.
During his former marriage to Cindy Kelly, they had a daughter, Rayanna, who passed away at a young age. Also preceding Gary in death are his maternal and paternal grandparents; his father;
two brothers and a sister.
Gary is survived by his mother, Marvilla Stillwell; his fiancée, Lisa Grogan; two brothers, James Creech of California, and Tim Creech of Willow Springs; five sisters, Pamela Williams of AZ; Cecilia Williams of Higginsville, MO; Yvonne Poppitz of Lawrence, KS; Tami Banta also of Willow Springs; and Tonya Creech of Mtn. Grove, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly called him “Uncle Ninnie.”
As per the family's wishes, a private graveside service for Gary Creech will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC. Online condolences may be left at www.willowspringsfuneralhome.com
