Margaret Irene Royster, 88, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday (July 6, 2011) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of John H. and Amie (Harris) Eitel, she was born February 14, 1923 in Adair County, Missouri. Margaret was united in marriage to Chuck Royster who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Raymond and Leonard Eitel, and one sister, Loraine.

Margaret is survived by one son Larry Llewellyn; one daughter, Linda Llewellyn of Joplin, MO; one sister, Lena Saddler of MO; two grandchildren, Corina Staton of Joplin, MO and Lance Llewellyn of Kirksville, MO and two great-grandchildren, Nataley Lynch and Christopher Llewellyn.

Margaret received her education in Adair County. She resided in Illinois a number of years until moving back to the Kirksville area in 1972. Margaret was employed a short time at Hollister, Inc.

Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting and she had a great love for her dog.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday (July 8, 2011) with family receiving friends one hour before service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Pastor Charles Jackson will officiate the service.

Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
