Ival Roy Tooley departed this life Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at the age of 92. He was born June 10, 1927, at Twin Bridges Missouri to Chester and Myrtle (Collins) Tooley. On March 22, 1947, he married the love of his life, Erma Lee Collins. God blessed them with 70 years of marriage and three wonderful children.
Ival was a World War II veteran. He served in the Pacific Fleet.
At the age of 26, he gave his heart to the Lord, then God called him into the ministry and he served God faithfully for 66 years where he touched the lives of endless people throughout the area. He was a pioneer of the Pentecostal movement in southern Missouri where he started and pastored many churches.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Myrtle; his wife, Erma Lee; his son-in-law, Gary Wake; great-great-granddaughter, Phoenix Leann Tooley; and one brother, Wayne Tooley.
Ival is survived by one son, Kenneth (Beverly) Tooley; two daughters, Marilyn (David) McReynolds, and Connie Wake; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary chapel, Willow Springs, with visitation at 1:00 pm Saturday, prior to the service. Interment will be in the Willow Springs City Cemetery.
