COLORED MAN DIES
Jessie Givens, Jr. Succumbs to Leakage of the Heat
Jessie Givens, Jr., colored, 37 years old, died Saturday night at his home on 317 South Orner St, from leakage of the heart. He had bee ill some time. Givens had lived in Carthage all of his life. He was a cook on a Pullman. Givens had been married but was divorced. The funeral will be conducted from the colored Baptist church in the northeast part of the city, at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
