Clinton David (Dave) Kimbrough, Forsyth, joined his Lord on March 4, 2016. Dave was born September 26, 1949 to WG Kimbrough. Dave was raised on the Kimbrough family dairy farm outside of Tipton Ford, Mo. In 1968, he enlisted in the Marine Corp and participated in the Okinawa Transportation Deployment and Evacuation, 3rd Forrest Service FMF pack as a truck driver as part of the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his father and a son, Toby. Dave spent many years helping the family farm but also worked as a long-haul truck driver, a school bus driver, and owned his own dump truck business. Dave is survived by his partner Karen Kimbrough of Forsyth, Mo., a sister, Jonnie Webb from Joplin; daughters Kim Taylor of Joplin, Tawnya Jones of Pittsburg, Ks., Teresa Loffer of Lindsborg, Ks., Kristy Walker of McPherson, Ks., and a son Todd Powell of Forsyth, Mo.; grandchildren; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many other loved ones. There will be a pot-luck gathering for family and friends to celebrate Dave’s life at 2pm, March 12, 2016 at the Memorial Hall in Diamond, Mo. Dave’s ashes will be placed at Spring Valley Cemetery, Tipton Ford, near to his beloved son and dad.

Memorial Contributions in his memory may be made out to Teresa Loffer for assistance with final expenses. Any contributions may be mailed to the funeral home and will be forwarded respectfully.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta, Mo.
