Husband of Beulah
Oscar Franklin Rhodes, son of the late Henry and Anna Rhodes was born June 11, 1903 at Bessville.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Merchant Marines. He was a member of the Hurricane Fork General Baptist church.
He is survived by a son, Junior, of St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Moore; five brothers, Peter F., Joe, Pervis, Issac, and Rev. Alonzo Rhodes; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Plainview Church north of Lutesville for Oscar, who died at his home in St. Louis.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
