Mrs. Margaret Wright Gross, 68, died at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti July 2, 1961, after a brief illness. She had been a Cooter resident for a number of years. One sister, Mrs. Eva Fowler, of Cooter, survives, in addition to several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:00 at Holly Baptist Church in Cooter with Rev Gerald Green officiating.
Interment was at No. 8 Cemetery.
