Funeral services for Lonnie Logan Lawler, II, were held Friday, September 23, at 2:00 p.m. in the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Rev. Joe Smith officiated. Singers were Glenda and Charlotte O'Kane and Tim Tuberville was the organist.
Mr. Lawler was born December 3, 1950, in Blytheville and died September 22, 1983, at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti at the age of 32.
He leaves his wife, Brenda Ady Lawler, and daughter, Laura, both of Cooter; His mother, Netha Perry Yacks of Cooter, and his father, Tommie Lawler, of Mr. Vernon, Ill.
Mr. Lawler's grandparents are Mrs. Irene Perry of Cooter and the late E.M. "Toots" Perry and the late Galum and Etna Lawler who lived at Kinfolks Ridge.
He leaves three sisters, Melissa Bivins of Blytheville, Shelly Drew and Janet Koch of Mt. Vernon; and Three brothers, Keith and Michael Lawler of Mt. Vernon and Tommie Gene Lee of Caruthersville.
Burial was in the Number Eight Cemetery in Cooter with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
