Irene Perry, 89, of Steele, died Friday, July 14, 2000, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti. She was born August 1, 1910, in Yarbro, Ark., the daughter of the late William Rodney Lewis and Josie Miles Lewis.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter.
Survivors include one daughter, Netha Razer of Cooter, one son, E.M. (EB) Perry of Hardy, Ark.; four sisters Gertrude Eller of Kentucky, Elsie Sprague of Michigan, Charlesa Henderson of California, and Betty Wikowshy of Arkansas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Mitchell #8 Cemetery in Cooter.
