Sadie Brown Cemetery is located at the corner of Hwys 13 and 63.
Historically this cemetery has been an African American Cemetery.
Ms. Sadie Brown was a lady who was well regarded throughout the area, and the cemetery is named after her.
There are between 40 and 80 graves. We are in need of headstone photos for this cemetery. If you have some free time to volunteer to take and upload your photos to Missouri Gravestones you would be preserving Missouri history for future generations.
If you have any questions as to how to go about doing this, send me a message via the "edit" button. All you really need is a digital camera and some free time. This is an enjoyable and worthwhile activity.
