Kenneth "Ken" Dale Herrington, age 61, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in his home.

He was born August 12, 1947, in Huntsville, Arkansas, the son of Frank Orval Herrington and Mildred Irene (Gabbard) Herrington. On June 21, 1997, he was united in marriage to Sheri Robinson who survives. He is also survived by four daughters, Teresa Kay McCoy of Granbury, Texas, step daughters, Johnna Luney of Santa Maria, California, Micaela Buchanan also of Santa Maria and Lorisa Bolin of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Bob Herrington of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and Alvin Herrington of Jacksonville, Arkansas; one sister, Virginia Threet of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Darren McCoy, Justin McCoy, Shaelah Luney and Seth Bolin and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Joe Herrington and James Albert Herrington and one sister, Joyce Ann Herrington. Also, his wife Shirley Jones Williams Herrington.

Ken received his education in Huntsville, Arkansas. He was an over the road truck driver for nineteen years. Ken served as Deputy Sheriff for the Sheriff's Department in Cassville for several years then was Server of Process-Investigation in Barry County and the surrounding area the next twenty years.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2009, in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville. Charles McManus, eulogist, conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
