Ayden Wayne Butler, a resident of Pomona, MO passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Born December 1, 2008 to Brandy Butler in West Plains, MO, he was 10 years old.
Ayden was a bright and cheerful young boy, very plain spoken and direct. He also had one of the kindest hearts ever and made friends with everyone he met. He would walk up to total strangers and wish them a happy day. To know Ayden was to love him. He was homeschooled and had attained the fourth grade level. He learned how to read at the age of 6. He was a huge fan of YouTube videos and loved to play video games, such as Pokemon Go, Minecraft, Jacksepticeye, DanTDM, as well as many others. He also loved dinosaurs and Cardinals Baseball. However, his favorite times were on the holidays, when he would spend time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Gerald E. Miller, his great-aunt Patricia Schnelting,and his great grandparents, Roy and Mary Butler.
Ayden is survived by his grandmother, Cheryl Hix; his mother, Brandy Butler; Charles Yost; aunt & uncle Mike and Alisa Butler; aunts Dawn Green and Felicia Butler; uncle Chris Weller; cousins Olivia, Cie Ci, Liam, Brian and Ben; step siblings Adrean, Kristine, Charles, Monte, & Sebastian Yost.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Ayden’s memory to help defray funeral and medical expenses. They may be left at the funeral home.
A family night/visitation for Ayden will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home, LLC. Funeral services for Ayden will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joel Hinds officiating at Willow Funeral Home, LLC, 106 E. Third St., Willow Springs, MO. Interment will follow at Willow Springs City Cemetery.
