Phillip A. Warnaca, 69, of Noel, Missouri, a longtime McDonald County resident, passed away after a long illness at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Phil was a 1967 graduate of McDonald County High School and proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He also attended Crowder College. In the early 80's he became reacquainted with an old classmate, Carman Crosby. They were married in 1984 and were married until her death in 2016. He worked for many years for the City of Joplin. Later in his life, Phil was a caretaker to his wife and mother-in-law when their health declined.
Phil is survived by his son, Ira and his wife Colleen, his grandson Alex, his step-daughter Karla, her husband James and his granddaughters Alexandra & Paige and brother-in-law, Herb Crosby.
Phil was a simple, hard-working man who enjoyed visits with family. He was a good man who will be greatly missed.
The family will have a private service. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
