Daniel Lauren Largent, 62, died Oct. 17, 2017, at his home in Jane, Mo. He was born on Aug. 30, 1955, to Melvin and Rosa Largent in Fort Crowder, Mo.
The first 18 months of his life, he spent in Aschaffenburg, Germany, where his father was stationed with the U.S. Army. He grew up in south Kansas City, Mo., and Grandview, Mo. After graduating from high school in 1973, he attended Longview Junior college for two years.
He worked for JC Penney 18 years in Overland Park, Kan. He lived many years in the Belton, Mo., area and was a member of the Grandview Church of Christ.
Survivors include his parents, Melvin and Rosa Largent of Pea Ridge, Mo.; one brother, Ronald and wife Linda of Bella Vista, Ark.; two nieces; two nephews; four great-nephews; one uncle, Bill and wife Lois Largent of Delta, Colo.; and many lifetime friends.
His interment was Oct. 2, 2017, in the Jane Cemetery.
