Alvin William "Bill" Repka Jr., 69, of Pineville, Mo., passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Mo.

He was born on May 6, 1946, in Seminole, Texas, to the late Alvin and Elminia (Costeel) Repka. Bill married the love of his life, Norene Townsend on Dec. 24, 1965, in Houston, Texas, and to this union two children were born. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1986 and continued with the Air Force as a contractor for another 10 years. He enjoyed working on his computer and was a woodworker attending craft shows with his wife, Norene.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two step-fathers, James Winn and Harold Shimshack.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 49 years; his son, Alvin William Repka III and wife, Guita, of Tucson, Ariz.; his daughter, Angela Dawn Carnes, of Tucson, Ariz.; father-in-law, George Townsend, of Pineville, Mo.; two brothers, Charlie Winn and wife, Patsy of Spring, Texas, and Sam Winn and wife, Angela of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Judy Conner and husband, Homer, of Navasota, Texas, Jodella Modisette, of Lufkin, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Ellis, of Anderson, Mo., and Linda Cosgrove, of Pineville, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Devyn Repka, Spencer Repka, Jeremy Repka, Cory Peremski and wife, Heidi, Chase Burns, Calista Burns, Katelyn Carnes; three great-grandchildren, Julia, Evan and Samantha Stephenson, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Bill.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Ellis and Pastor Marilyn O'Brien will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home.
