Matthew Duane Campbell “Duane”, 54 of Cabool, left this earth at 3:49 PM on January 3rd, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with pneumonia. Without a doubt, “The original hard-working man”, as he referred to himself, fixed or adjusted something as he passed through the pearly gates on his way to Heaven. Duane was born on June 9th, 1966 in Fulton, Kentucky, the son of Jerry Dale Campbell and Betty Jo Leclere.
Duane was a hardworking and hard loving man. He worked long hours for almost 25 years as a Maintenance Technician and then Maintenance supervisor at DFA to provide for his family and still always had time to take care of others. Duane was always generous with his time and always motivated to tackle whatever chore needed completion. He was a man of many talents, and rarely was there a task he didn’t know how to do or couldn’t figure out. He was never a man stifled by obligation to his family but flourished in the ability to help those he loved.
he hole that he leaves in his family can only be made acceptable with the knowledge that he is in Paradise for eternity and all of us that have accepted Christ will see him again in perfection.
