Leonard Edward Beck, 84, of Golden, died August 28 at his home.
Mr. Beck was born October 26, 1915, in Barry County, the son of Jacob Frank and Maggie Smith Beck. He was an automobile mechanic for many years and was a lifelong Barry County resident.
He married Mary Jane Towler on October 6, 1939, in Cassville, and she survives.
Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Beck of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Verdayne Beck of the state of California; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Earl Beck.
Graveside services will be 9 a.m. tomorrow, August 31, at Roach Cemetery in Eagle Rock with Bill Dudley, pastor, officiating, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville.
