Phillip A. Warnaca, 69, of Noel, Mo., a longtime McDonald County resident, died at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark., on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017.
He was a 1967 graduate of McDonald County High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He attended Crowder College and in the early 1980's, he became reacquainted with an old classmate, Carman Crosby. They were married in 1984 until her death in 2016. He worked for many years for the city of Joplin.
Survivors include his son, Ira (Colleen); one grandson Alex; stepdaughter Karla (James); granddaughters Alexandra & Paige; and brother-in-law, Herb Crosby.
The family will have a private service.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
