Thomas E. Ruark, age 51, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Rock Brook Church, 1715 E. 173rd St., Belton, Missouri 64012. Immediately following will be a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. A burial will be held following the funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at Chitwood Cemetery south of Wheaton, Missouri.

Thomas was born on January 25, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Jack Eugene Ruark and Linda (Stanley) Ruark and growing up was an only child. After graduating from Ray-Pec High School in 1986, Thomas served his country in the United States Airforce for six years. Thomas was very proud of his honorable service and continued his education, receiving a bachelor’s degree in business. Thomas created a career for himself in sales and IT work. Thomas worked for many businesses such as Cerner, Garman, and Gateway.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Jack Eugene Ruark.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Aria Ruark; mother, Linda Ruark; five uncles, Kenneth Ruark (Barbara), Don Ruark (Betty), Kenneth Stanley (Mary Jane), Dennis Stanley (Reva), and David Stanley (Penny); and aunt, Anita Ruark.
