John E. McMillen was born August 20, 1952 and passed away on October 5, 2012 after battling cancer.
John was born in Kansas City and attended school in Lee's Summit and Holden.
He had lived in the Seattle, WA area since 1997 and retired five years ago as co-owner of a furniture import business.
John died on the island of Bali, a place he loved, while he and his wife were visiting his nephew.
John is survived by his wife, Kathy, and stepdaughter, Haley; three children from a previous marriage, Marshall, Maryah , and Matthew; brother Dennis; sister, Pam, and numerous grandchildren.
John was cremated in Bali.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Holden Cemetery under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home, Holden, MO
