Oronogo, Mo., Aug. 24.—Funeral services for Clarence Bruce, 40 years old, a world war veteran, who died at 8:15 o'clock Thursday morning in a veterans' hospital at Excelsior Springs, where he was taken several weeks ago for treatment, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Oronogo Baptist church. The Rev. Carl Tarrant will be in charge. Burial will be in Webb City (sic) cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lela Bruce; five sons, Joe, Douglas, James, George and Dwin (sic), all at home; a stepson and a sister, Mrs. Earl Mann of Webb City.
