Funeral services for David Driskell, 74, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Driskell passed away at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his home.
He was born October 28, 1948, in Howell County, Missouri, to Virl and Lola May Driskell. On May 27, 1967, he was married at Independence, Iowa, to Linda Lou Straw, who preceded him in death on April 14, 2017. Mr. Driskell was a veteran, having served with the United States Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals, and a Bronze Star. Before his retirement, David was a mechanic for International Harvester, Independence, Iowa, White Ford, Willow Springs, Missouri and Morlan-Shell Ford, West Plains, Missouri and was a cattle hauler for Hoover Farms of West Plains. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, truck and tractor pulling and spending time with family.
His parents, wife, two infant brothers, two brothers, Junior and Dale Driskell and two sisters, Joyce Ahrens and Thelma Lanam, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
