Mrs. Alice Stapleton, 91, of Seligman, died at 7:30 o'clock Monday morning at a Joplin nursing home where she had been a patient the last two weeks.
Mrs. Stapleton was born January 17, 1878. She was a member of the Seligman Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sam Brink of Joplin, and Mrs. Mozella Karnes of Rogers, Arkansas; a sister, Mrs. Ella Reddick of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock last Wednesday afternoon at the Seligman Baptist Church. Rev. Sam Etcheson officiated and burial was in Seligman Cemetery under direction of Culver Funeral Home of Cassville.
