EARL PIPPIN
Services for Earl C. Pippin, 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Normal Pippin, Seligman route 1, were held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Southwest High School's gymnasium at Washburn. He died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday in the Rogers, Ark., Memorial Hospital following an illness of five months.
The Rev. Wendell Nichols and the Rev. Clyde McCormack officiated. Burial was in King Cemetery, south of Washburn, under direction of the Williamson Funeral Home, Cassville.
Young Pippin was born Jan. 29, 1953, at Seligman where he spent his lifetime. He would have been a senior at Southwest High School this year where he had been a member of the basketball team. He was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving, besides the parents, are three brothers, James, Seligman, Charles, Rogers, and Richard, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Tate, Seligman, and Mrs. Beverly Tate, Rogers, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Goldie Pippin, Seligman.
