Theodore Adrian Dies at Age 74
Theodore (Ted) Adrian, 74, died today at the family home at Marys Home.
He was born in the Teal Bottom community Jan, 3, 1890, the son of Henry J. and Agnes Leethen Adrian. He was married at Marys Home Feb. 8, 1921, to Miss Rosie Iven, who survives.
He is also survived by two sons, James Adrian, Jefferson City; Wilfrid Adrian, St. Martins; one daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Eggen, Jefferson City; two brothers, Adolph Adrian and Hubert Adrian, both of Henley; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Beek, St. Elizabeth; Mrs. Rosie Schmidt, Miss Bertha Adrian and Mrs. Clara Schmidt, all of St. Thomas; 14 grandchildren.
Mr. Adrian was a farmer and for 10 years was a member of the board of directors of the Bank of St. Thomas.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church at Marys Home, and the Holy Name Society of that parish.
The Rosary will be recited at a Jefferson City funeral home at 8 p.m. Thursday and at the family home at 8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be at the St. Thomas Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Leo Holdener officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
