BELOVED FATHER

Walter "Lee" Puckett, 89, New Palestine, Indiana passed away August 12, 2021. Walter "Lee" Puckett was born November 14, 1931 in Willow Springs, MO. He is survived by his children Terri Anderson, Merri Taylor, Robert (Sheryl) Puckett and Gerri (Dale) Gilbert, 9 grand-children and 9 great grand-children. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Eugene Puckett and Dora Lee Puckett; his sisters, Helen Ruth Richardson and Evelyn Eugene Woods.
Walter "Lee" Puckett was an Airman 1st Class, 4052nd Bomb Wing, Korea July 18, 1950-November 06, 1953. He was a member of Teamsters for 38 ½ years, tractor trailer driver for Standard Grocery (25 years) and Thomson Consumer Electronics (13 ½ years) and retired in 1995. Lee enjoyed riding motorcycles since 1952, he traveled throughout most of the 48 states and enjoyed collecting coins. He was a member of the American Legion, New Palestine, Indiana, Honda Goldwing Club, Bloomington, Indiana.
He will be laid to rest Monday, September 20, 2021 with graveside services at 10:00 A.M. at the Willow Springs City Cemetery, Howell County, Willow Springs, MO with Pastor Scott Williamson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC.
