Silviya Pleshka of West Plains, MO passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 90.
Silviya was married to her husband, Mikhail Pleshka, together for 61 years; sons: Dionize (Tatyana) Pleshka, Nickolay (Olivia) Pleshka, Andrew Pleshka, Nickolay Pleshka, Joe Pleshka and Andrew (Sueanne) Pleshka; daughters, Aspaziya (Veniamin) Petresku, Dayga Balaban and Marina (Nicu?or) Dobra; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Turetska, who still lives in Ukraine.
Silviya was born on September 27, 1933, in Banyliv-Pidhirnyi, Ukraine, where she made her home with Mikhail until they moved to the United States in September 1995. Silviya enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, playing with her great-grandchildren and to visit with her children. She loved flowers and had one of the most beautiful and elaborate flower gardens in the area.
