CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — Tony
Joe Barger, 28 301 Water St., died at 1:40 a.m. Friday at St, John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin from a gun shot wound he received outside of a Joplin nightclub.
The death was investigated by Robert Knell, Jasper County coroner.
Mr. Barger was Sept. 28, 1956
in Joplin, and was a lifetime area resident.
He was employed as a carpenter.
He was a member of the Carl Junction United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his father Ralph Barger, Joplin route 6; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ivins, Joplin route 3: a brother. Mike Magoon, Carl Junction, and two sisters, Mrs. Debbie Berry, Joplin route 3, and Mrs. Mona Ransom, Carl Junction.
Services will be announced by Mason-Woodard Mortuary, Joplin.
