Charles Gregory "Greg" Sloan of Springfield, born Oct. 29, 1955 in Monett, died July 5, 2000 from cancer in St. John's Regional Health Center. He was preceded in 1 death by his father, Charles Maynard Sloan. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Bailey Sloan; daughters Ashley Nichole and Sarah Alecia, of the home; and his mother, Sheila Sloan Cosby, Hot Springs Village, AR.
A graduate of Parkview High School, Greg was employed for 17 years in the security department at St. John's. he was a member of Southminister Presbyterian Church, Good Guys, and the B.O.B. Club. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Funeral Home South...Springfield News-Leader 2000 Jul 07 Page 14
