Funeral services for Guy Arnold, 81, were held Wednesday, September 7, 1983 at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel in Steele. Mr. Walter Lumpkin and Mr. Jimmie Colvett officiated.
Mr. Arnold was born March 31, 1902, in Gibson County, Tennessee and
died September 5, 1983, at the Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Christine Arnold of Steele;
One daughter, Mrs. Anna Wimberley of Steele;
One son, James E. Arnold of Baton Rouge, La.;
One sister, Mrs. Grace Jordon of Memphis;
One brother, Sam Arnold of Memphis; and
Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jack Malone, Ben Malone, Marshall Malone, Herman Via, Mitchell Fisher, and Eddie Jarboe.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements

Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Arnold, 79, were held Sunday, May 27, 1984, at the Holland Church of Christ. Mr. Walter Lumpkin officiated.
Mrs. Arnold was born on December 25, 1904, at Huntingdon, Tenn., and died May 26, 1984, at thee Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Her husband, Guy Arnold, preceded her in death.
She leaves one daughter, Anna Wimberley of Steele;
One son, James E. Arnold of Little Rock;
Two brothers: Hulan Everett of Rector and Glenn Everett of Ferndale, Mich.; and
Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mitchell Fisher, Gary Bruton, Robert Jones, Eddie Jarboe, Herman Via, and Clifford Jackson.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
