Sarah was the 4th of seven children born to Dr. Henry Fenton Steinhauer and Jemima Sappington. His siblings: John James (died young), Emma, John D. (died young), Mary Agnes (died young) Fanny M. (died young) and Mary.
The stone is in the center of the cemetery and Sarah's inscription is on the north side.
