Mary was the 5th of seven children born to Dr. Henry Fenton Steinhauer and Jemima Sappington. Her siblings: John James (died young), Emma, John D. (died young), Sarah Wells (died young), Fanny M. (died young) and Mary.
The stone is in the center of the cemetery and Mary's inscription is on the east side.
