Mrs. Helen Farmer, 77, died at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. on Tuesday, May 26, 1992.

Daughter of the late Wyatt Laden and Annie Phillips Laden, she was born in Steele, Mo. February 18, 1915.

At Steele on December 25, 1938, she was united in marriage with Shirley Farmer, who preceded her in death July 17, 1988.

Helen and Shirley owned and operated a dry cleaning business in Portageville, Mo. until their retirement.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Farmer leaves three nephews: Larry Hahs of Tennesse, Sam Hahs, of Texas, and Sonny Laden of Steele.

Graveside services were held Thursday, May 28, 1992, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Father Don Hirtz officiating. John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers wre Sonny Laden, Jerry Graham, Phillip Laden, Jr., and Billy Williams
