Janet K. Dew, the daughter of the late Charles Swain and Betty Colter Swain was born January 26, 1953 at St. Louis, Missouri and passed away at 5:55 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 making her age 57 years.

Janet was married to Mark Dew for 32 years. To their union two children were born: Brian Dew and Tracie Dew Moshier.

Children were Janet's life. She obtained an Associate Degree in Early Childhood and worked for Ralston Purina in the employee daycare nursery for 8 years.

She was a music enthusiastic and loved Vince Gill: her musical talents were playing the guitar and singing. Janet touched a lot of lives with her musical talent over the years. Her pastimes included fishing, her animals, and spending time with family, especially with her pride and joy, Leslie. The computer was her eyes and ears, and one of her biggest enjoyments.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Swain; sister, Lin Swain Breedlove, two nephews, Michael D'Angelo, and Anthony Payne, and great niece Cheyenne Doty.

Surviving are her mother, Betty Swain; children, Brian Dew, and Tracie Dew Moshier and granddaughter, Leslie Dew; four brothers, Ivan Swain, Jim Finnell, Charles Swain, and Manuel Swain, and one sister, Robin Swain. She was also survived by Nicole Dew Richardson and son Cameron Richardson, with whom she had a special bond; special friends include best friend Debbie Wunder and husband, Gary; Linda and Gilbert Hinki; Tammy Randall, and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Bradford Funeral Home with Gary Wunder and Rev. Emmett Bradford officiating. Interment was in Midvale Cemetery under the care of Bradford Funeral Home.
