Mr. E.S. (Sonny) Morton, 46, of Houston, Texas died Saturday, July 23, 1994, at Houston.
Born December 17, 1947 at Steele, Mo., he was a son of the late Fred Morton and Ernie Barnard Morton.
Three brothers also preceded him in death.
Sonny was a painter until ill health overtook him.
On December 1, 1983 at Rowlett, Texas, he was united in marriage with Sandra Hoffeld.
Mr. Morton leaves his wife, Sandra Morton, of Houston; Three children: Brien, Johnna, and Jeffery Morton; Three stepchildren: Clarisa Burkhart, Robby Hoffeld and Richard Hoffeld, all of Texas; Three sisters: Mrs. Lucille King of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Jerri Dale Wallin of West Memphis, Ark., and Mrs. Carolyn Stafford, of El Paso, Texas; Two brothers: Billy Mack Morton of Steele and Fred Morton of Chambersburg, Ill.; and Seven grandchildren and one on the way.
Memorial services for Mr. Morton were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 1994 at the Assembly of God Church in Denton, Mo., with Brother Charles Clark officiating.
Burial was in Barnard Cemetery near Steele, with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
