Mr. Joe Bishop died at Oroville, Calif., August 24, 1995, at Oroville, Calif.
Born March 11, 1918 at Finley, Tenn., he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Bishop.
He was united in marriage to Lucille Williams on August 16, 1938, at Hayti, Mo.
Mr. Bishop leaves his wife, Lucille Williams Bishop, of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.;
Two daughters: Mrs. Linda Ballard of Kodak, Tenn., and Mrs. Kay Oldenberg of Kent, Wash.;
One grandson, Sgt. Joe Ballard, of the Air Force at Fort Walton, Beach, Fla.;
Two granddaughters: Rose-Mari Ballard of New York City, N.Y. and Samantha Oldenberg of Kent, Wash.;
One sister, Mrs. Hazel Henson, of Campbell, Mo.; and
Several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mr. Bishop were held Friday, July 11, 1997, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with Rev. Dean Fox officiating.
