Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Steele Methodist Church for Mrs. Laura Bishop. The pastor, Rev. Marvin Niblack, officiated with interment in the Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Bishop, 75 years of age, died Saturday at the Osceola Hospital from a heart attack she had a week ago while on a bus en route to Texas to see her daughter.
She had lived at Steele since 1942 and was living in the Jack Phillips home.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Lillie Glover; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Irving, Texas.
