Mr. Daniel Grogan passed away on Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, while at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Mo. Born on Nov. 30, 1965, in Summersville, Mo., to Danny and Bonnie (Reece) Grogan, he was 44 years old. Daniel grew up in Willow Springs where he graduated from high school, Class of ‘84. On Jan. 2, 1988, Daniel married Chari King in Springfield, Mo.; to this union, three children were born. Daniel proudly served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 1994. Daniel then attended school where he learned to be an auctioneer. He was well known for holding benefit auctions for people that were in need. Daniel was employed by the Willow Springs School District as a school bus driver for the past 13 years, where he was well known and loved by all of the kids on his bus route. Daniel was a member of the Ozark Mountain Long Rifle Association; current Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 64 in Willow Springs; and an active member of the Pine Grove House of Prayer where he enjoyed singing and playing his guitar for church services. He was described by his family as a "Good Daddy" who enjoyed life and spending time with his family. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him., Daniel is survived by his wife Chari; his children Tiffany Lynn, Amber Dawn and Justin Daniel; his father, Danny Grogan and his wife Ida; and his mother Bonnie Grogan, all of Willow Springs. He is further survived by his grandmother, Loretta Reece of Cabool; his brother, Scott Grogan and his wife Christie of Willow Springs; Patty Salsman and her husband Andrew of Palmyra, Mo.; his father and mother-in-law, George and Shirley King of Marshfield, Mo.; his sister-in-law Cynthia Cardwell and her husband Randy of Marshfield, Mo.; his brother-in-law Calvin King and his wife Anita of Springfield, Mo.; and his brother-in-law Carl King and his wife Sarah of Hartville, Mo. Numerous aunts, uncles, nine nieces five nephews, one great-niece and two great-nephews further survive. Funeral service were Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at the Willow Springs High School in the Munford Gym. Burial was at the Willow Springs City Cemetery.
