Dor was elected City Marshall in Willow Springs in 1939 and served for 6 years, then due to ill health, he resigned.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Aug., 1987) in the Presbyterian Church, Willow Springs, with the Rev. Keith Cunningham officiating. Mrs. Martin died Monday in West Vue Home, Inc. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Caffie Reynolds, Tulsa OK; one brother, Earl Wheeler, West Plains; three nieces, Mrs. Vida Henry and Mrs. Geraldine Hood, Willow Springs, and Mrs. Katheryn Evans, Topeka KS; and several other nieces and nephews. Burial was in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Hiler Funeral Home, Willow Springs.
