Mrs. Mary Hattie Cannon, 99, of Holland, Mo., died of cardiac arrest Thursday, March 23, 1995, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, Mo.

She was a daughter of the late Robert Smith and Rosa Baskins Smith.

On March 13, 1912 at Casa, Ark., she was united in marriage with George W. Cannon. He preceded her in death January 1, 1986.

A daughter Marie Westenfelder, a son O'Dell (Big Boy) Cannon, a grandson, Wilburn Patterson, twin sister, Mattie and two brothers, Millard Bostick and Clarence Bostick, also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Cannon leaves one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Cannon Linderman, of Holland; a son and daughter-in-law, Lawdell and Betty Cannon, of Davenport, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Laura Bostick, of Ripley, Tenn.; six granddaughters, four great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; a great-great-granddaughter and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cannon were held Saturday, March 25, 1995 at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, Mo. with Mr. Barry Sellers officiating.

Interment was at Mount Zion Cemetery in Steele with John W. German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
