Graveside services for Sarah Mae Trail, 83, West Plains, Mo., were held Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, with Brother Bill Bales officiating, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains. She was born the daughter of the late Elmer H. Foster and Troy Gladys Glenn Foster, on July 20, 1930 in Kooskia, Idaho and died Oct. 14, 2013, in West Plains, Mo. She was united in marriage Jan. 10, 1953, in West Plains, Mo., to James Eugene Trail. She is survived by two sons, Roger Trail, West Plains, Mo., and David Trail and wife Leigh, Urbana, Ill.; one brother, Carl Foster, Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Wilma Bartholomew, Beach Park, Ill., Troy Craig, Neillsbille, Wis., and Sherron Garga and husband Joe, Cameron Park, Calif.; three grandchildren, Dustin Trail, West Plains, Mo., Samantha Fine Trail, Arnold, Md., and Cameron Trail, Urbana, Ill.; two step-grandchildren, Chris Fields and wife Shannon, Willow Springs, Mo., and Debbie Miller, Largo, Fla.; five step-grandchildren, Videl and Scott Fields, Largo, Fla., Blake Miller, Largo, Fla., Catherine and Hailey Fields, Willow Springs, Mo., and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Willard Foster and one granddaughter. She graduated from West Plains High School with the class of 1948. She was employed for 8 1/2 years with First National Bank, West Plains. Her and her late husband owned and operated Grandpa's Flea Market from 1989 to 1998.
