Graveside services for Peggy Jane Hammen, 74, West Plains, Mo., will be 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hammen died 1:14 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, in NHC HealthCare. She was born Feb. 11, 1933, in Mammoth Spring, Ark., to Roy and Ruby Myrtle Kellett Thomas. On Jan. 6, 1965, she was married at West Plains to Eugene (Gene) Edward Hammen, who preceded her in death June 20, 2007. She had worked at International Shoe Company and loved to play bingo.
She is survived by two children, Dennis Hammen, wife, Trish, and Joetta Creason, fiance, D'Arcy Forbes, all of West Plains; seven grandchildren, Kevin Antrim, Trista Creason, Trent Creason, Josi Creason, Kristie Bales, Travis Bales and Briana Hammen; one great-grandchild, Zoe Antrim; and one brother, David Thomas, Pecos, Texas.
Her parents and husband preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
