Lawrence "Dewey" Walton, 86, of Pineville, Mo., died at his home on Sunday, April 18, 1993. He was born on Oct. 8, 1906, at Sabetha, Kan.
He lived in this area since 1955. He was a member of Simsberry United Methodist Church. He had worked in construction and was a farmer.
He was married to Caroline Palmer on Jan. 25, 1942, at Sabetha, Kan. and was preceded in death by her in April 1989.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Regland and Christie Beck, both of Pineville, Mo.; a brother, Dale Walton of Augusta, Kan.; a sister, Lillian Rooney of Sabetha, Kan. and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., today, at the Simsberry United Methodist Church, Highway 90 and E. Officiating will be the Rev. Raymond Rumbo, the Rev. Bob Robinson and the Rev. Al Fowler with burial in the Simsberry Cemetery following services.
