Ms. Juanita Tomlin, 41, of Steele, Mo. died Friday, February 27, 1998, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born in Steele, Mo., March 28, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Beulah Brewer Haynes. A sister, Sharon Cannon, also preceded her in death.
Nita was employed as a housekeeper at the Econo Lodge.
Ms. Tomlin leaves three sons: Ricky Tomlin, Dennis Allen Tomlin, and Jason Tomlin, all of Steele; One daughter, Deanna Michelle Tomlin, of Steele; A nephew she raised, Terry Haynes, of Cooter, Mo.; Four sisters: Joan Wilson of Kennett, Mo., Margaret Dildine of Steele, Christine Kennedy of Steele, and Brenda Underwood of Caruthersville, Mo.; One brother, Eugene Haynes, of Steele; and Two grandchildren: Dennis Tomlin II and Payden Tomlin of Steele.
Funeral services for Ms. Tomlin were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 1998 at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with Rev. Glyn Davis officiating.
Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with John W. German Funeral home in charge.
Pallbearers were Ricky Tomlin, Jason Tomlin, Bubba Crawford, Brandon Dent, Johnny Jumper, and Larry Grissom.
